The nRF24L01+ provides a two-way 2.4 GHz link between microcontrollers without any network infrastructure, reaching about a hundred metres in open air with the on-board antenna. It suits remote controls, sensor meshes and robot telemetry, and needs a stable 3.3 volt supply with a decoupling capacitor close to the module.
